Inventory Specialist - Knoxville, TNDISHER is currently partnering with an innovative thermal management solutions company in search of an Inventory Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for managing inventory transactions, processing shipping and receiving activities, entering orders into the NetSuite system, and helping maintain accurate inventory levels. You'll join a growing, team-oriented organization that emphasizes both professional development and measurable results while maintaining an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking culture.What you will get to do:Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving, inspecting, and documenting inventory.Partner with customers and vendors to arrange shipping of inventory items and finished productsCoordinate logistics with shipping companiesAccurately enter incoming inventory and related data into the NetSuite system.Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.Perform routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and support reconciliation efforts.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and customer service teams to facilitate timely order fulfillment.Maintain organized inventory storage and follow established inventory control procedures.Generate and review inventory-related reports as needed.Assist in identifying opportunities to improve inventory management processes and operational efficiency.Support compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.Adapt to changing business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational priorities.Perform all other duties as assigned, including providing support to other departments and teams as business needs and priorities arise.What will make you successful:1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, logistics, or a related field.Understanding of inventory management principles and the overall inventory lifecycle.Experience working with inventory management systems or ERP platforms; NetSuite experience is a plus but not required.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to accurately enter and maintain data in business systems.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.Familiarity with order processing and fulfillment workflows.Prior experience working in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
