Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work schedule as it is primarily remote, facilitating a work-life balance that promotes job satisfaction and employee well-being. While the role will be conducted from home, you will have the opportunity to engage with students, parents, and staff virtually, offering support via video sessions and teletherapy methods. Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your expertise in social work to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and formulate independent diagnoses tailored to the needs of each student.

• Collaborate with students to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that promote proactive mental health management and educational success.
\n
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation to effectively address mental health concerns.

• Work closely with educators, parents, and fellow healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to student mental health.
\n
• Monitor and track treatment outcomes to assess student progress toward their personal and academic goals, making adjustments to the treatment plans as necessary.

• Support medication management by collaborating with prescribing providers, ensuring adherence and addressing any side effects or concerns related to psychotropic medications.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on students ranging from early childhood to adolescence within the school environment. You will work with a diverse population of children and adolescents presenting with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other psychosocial stressors. Your contributions will directly impact their ability to thrive academically and socially, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Possession of a current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed therapist, demonstrating your competency in the provision of mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in school-based settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and virtual therapeutic methodologies to engage clients effectively.

• Knowledge of local educational policies and mental health resources within Corpus Christi is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
