Business Development Specialist - Marketing

Support responses to RFPs, pitches, presentations, and other opportunities by developing written proposal and presentation materials Liaise with client teams and industry groups when relevant Support direct marketing and business development programs, including podcasts, video recordings, seminars, sponsorships, and other events Create social media campaigns and report on ROI and engagement Develop and maintain practice group-specific marketing content, including matter descriptions, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, website/blog content, social media posts, and biographies Develop and maintain league table and industry survey content and respond to survey and ranking submissions Conduct research, analysis, and competitive intelligence gathering for strategic planning and business development Identify speaking opportunities Collect global transactions-practice matter data and manage the matter database to ensure data quality and firm-wide availability Track US transactions-practice pipeline activity Review and consult with lawyers regarding profiles and practice descriptions Provide ad hoc support for the transactions practice Perform other duties as assigned to meet Firm goals and objectives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Research, Communications or related field, required Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, required Ability to quickly learn and utilize firm databases and outside vendor databases, required Minimum of four years of demonstrated success in a marketing, research, management, and/or communications-related field, either in professional services or a comparable corporate, trade association, or academic position, required Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a diverse team environment and support demanding Firm needs Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with shifting priorities Self-starter with a high level of initiative Strong customer service skills and independent judgment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills May require occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
