Staff Accountant

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-site) Salary: $65,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations for a growing organization. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes, and supporting a variety of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting practices . Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation. Prepare and record journal entries and general ledger transactions. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities. Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis. Monitor accounting data for accuracy and compliance. Support audit requests and provide required documentation. Assist with tax-related reporting and filings. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience. Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. Understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards. Sales tax filing experience. VAT reporting experience. Manufacturing or technical industry experience.
