Exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a positive impact in school settings near Olive Branch, MS! Utilize your expertise working with diverse student populations as you support communication needs and foster growth in a collaborative educational environment.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and implement IEPs
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team efforts to support each student’s educational goals
- Integrate innovative methods and technologies to engage students and enhance outcomes
- Educate and consult with staff and parents on effective strategies and interventions
