Responsibilities: Assist machinists with the setup and operation of CNC and manual machine tools Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications Perform basic machining operations including turning, milling, drilling, and grinding Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with shop standards Support inventory management and assist with material handling and staging Follow quality control procedures to ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; vocational or trade school coursework a plus Basic mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn precision machining Ability to read basic blueprints or willingness to learn technical drawing interpretation Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented shop environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed About Us: Can-am Manufacturing Inc has built a strong reputation in the Valencia, CA area as a trusted provider of high-quality precision machined components.
