Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Continental Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma/ortho experience preferred. Neuro/stroke experience preferred.

Unit Details: Uses GE wireless telemetry boxes and Welch Allyn vital sign machines. Neurovascular checks on limbs, frequent ambulation/repositioning, orthopedic precautions, and comprehensive pain control. Treats trauma and orthopedic injuries, including blunt force trauma, polytrauma, SCIs, GSWs, stabbings, and telemetry patients with chest pain, stroke workups, chronic cardiac conditions such as CHF, Afib, and RVR, plus TBIs.
