Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including detailed assessments and history reviews, to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Explain evaluation results and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, incorporating their feedback into the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols adeptly, demonstrating proficiency in techniques that respond to patient presentations and adhere to evolving best practices in healthcare.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations with other healthcare professionals as necessary, recognizing changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Manage thorough documentation of patient care activities, ensuring clear, timely, and accurate records such as initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries.
• Exhibit effective time management skills, meeting productivity benchmarks while maintaining an organized schedule for patient appointments and meetings.
• Contribute to departmental goals by participating in marketing campaigns, community outreach programs, and furthering initiatives aimed at improving access to care for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at St. Bernards, you will work primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification must be obtained prior to employment.
• Although prior experience is not strictly required, a passion for patient care and a willingness to learn are essential.
