We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at the Fairview East Healthcare and Behavioral Center. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, offering a vibrant environment where you will work directly with a supportive team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our modern facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment, enhancing our capability to deliver optimal treatment outcomes. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for evaluating patients' needs and establishing personalized care plans that incorporate a diverse range of treatment techniques.
• Manage a caseload of patients effectively, with a focus on achieving treatment goals through evidence-based practices.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Encourage patient motivation and adherence to therapy regimens, providing education on the benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle.
• Collaborate alongside a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals to streamline patient care and improve outcomes.
• Maintain clean communication with patients regarding their treatment, effectively managing expectations and progress updates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary demographic includes patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. We cater predominantly to individuals with private medical insurance, providing tailored rehabilitation solutions that align with their unique needs. Your role will involve working closely with these clients to enhance their functional abilities, alleviating discomfort, and promoting mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid and clean licensed Physical Therapist certification in the state of New Jersey.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient environments is essential for this role.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient specifications.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably experience with WebPT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a strong therapeutic alliance with patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
