Position Overview

Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. About the Organization

Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is a leading rehabilitation facility located in Edison, NJ, renowned for its state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine environment. Our organization prides itself on delivering exceptional care, primarily to patients with private medical insurance, and focuses on holistic health and rehabilitation. Our team consists of two skilled physical therapists and a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all committed to providing individualized, evidence-based treatments.

Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals. Our center is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technology, creating an ideal environment for effective treatment and rehabilitation. Our daily work schedule offers a supportive and dynamic environment, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their unique healthcare needs and develop tailored rehabilitation programs.
• Manage a productive caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality personalized care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that leverage a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Work to minimize the reliance on medications and surgical interventions by promoting effective non-invasive treatment options.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly and accurately in our electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment protocols, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term recovery.
• Collaborate regularly with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and address their comprehensive health needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering a positive outlook on their rehabilitation process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic cases. Patients at Pardise Mind come to us for a range of musculoskeletal issues, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and general mobility challenges. As a therapist, you will engage with patients from various backgrounds and age groups, providing compassionate care tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean record free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to conduct personalized exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR platforms, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on sports medicine.
• Demonstrable success in developing and implementing innovative treatment strategies that improve patient outcomes.
• A passion for patient education and community wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
