Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or other physical impairments.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient-specific modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to align with evolving therapeutic goals.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education regarding rehabilitation processes and strategies for promoting health and wellness.
• Train patients and their support systems on the proper utilization of assistive devices and equipment that facilitate self-care and mobility.
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings to address holistic patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest physical therapy practices through professional development opportunities, including workshops, literature reviews, and networking within professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and orthopedic ailments. You will be tasked with providing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient, ensuring that every therapy session contributes to their improvement and rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; preference given to candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with patients and staff members.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records and scheduling software.
• Demonstrated flexibility and agility in adapting to the changing needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply and will receive mentorship.
• Any relevant certifications or specialized training in orthopedic rehabilitation or manual therapy techniques will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
