Licensed Physical Therapist - Full-Time Rehabilitation Specialist

Realign Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Woodbridge, New Jersey rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our welcoming and well-equipped rehabilitation facility located in Woodbridge, NJ. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule allows for a healthy work-life balance while providing ample opportunities to engage with patients throughout their recovery journey. Our facility features state-of-the-art equipment and treatment spaces designed to support various modalities of physical therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and functional assessments to determine patient needs and goals.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's specific circumstances, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Implement treatment protocols while collaborating closely with chiropractors and medical doctors to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy strategies to optimize outcomes and support recovery goals.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-management techniques, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work primarily with adult patients, but may also engage in pediatric physical therapy as needed. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient will be crucial in providing tailored care that fosters recovery and improves quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
• A current New Jersey Physical Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment while cultivating positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, candidates with specialized training in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or geriatric care are encouraged to apply. Experience using electronic health record systems and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines will be advantageous in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
