Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our Rehabilitation Facility in Matawan, where a supportive team environment thrives. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday with 40-hour shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance while allowing our team members to focus on what they do best—helping patients regain their strength and mobility.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans in line with physician referrals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and educational consultations.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions that demonstrate a high level of expertise, ensuring patients receive effective care and support.
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with clinical guidelines and share insights with the healthcare team to adjust treatment plans as required.
• Deliver education to patients and their caregivers to empower them in managing their recovery and future health.
• Achieve and maintain minimum utilization goals while actively contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, those with neurological conditions, and athletes rehabilitating from sports-related injuries. Physical Therapists at Envista play an integral role in helping these varying patient groups achieve their functional and rehabilitation goals through personalized, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required to ensure a strong foundation in diverse treatment techniques.
• Valid CPR certification to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building relationships with patients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring seamless operations within the clinic.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a wide range of patient demographics, providing a well-rounded perspective on treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
