Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Broward Physical Therapy, you will:

• Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and enhancing mobility based on client evaluations.
• Oversee the delivery of care provided by Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring alignment with established plans and standards.
• Conduct thorough client evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess their functional capabilities and develop tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Assess clients' home environments to make recommendations that enhance their independence and safety.
• Provide manual therapeutic interventions, assist clients with tailored exercises, and educate them on effective techniques for recovery.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetics and orthotics as necessary, ensuring clients' needs are met and functionality is optimized.
• Document detailed reports of client condition updates and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with existing clinical and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, actively participating in case conferences to optimize holistic treatment approaches.
• Educate clients and their families about physical therapy processes and modify treatment plans according to evolving patient needs.
• Maintain timely communication with physicians and healthcare team members regarding client progress and treatment modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus
