Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual psychotherapy sessions either in the client’s home or via remote technology to ensure continued engagement and support.

• Utilizing evidence-based techniques to assist clients with emotional regulation, anger management, coping strategies, and the development of social skills.

• Working actively to minimize high-risk behaviors, including self-injury and aggressive behaviors, through tailored intervention strategies.

• Facilitating decision-making workshops with adolescents and their caregivers to empower families in managing behavioral difficulties.

• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client interactions as per agency standards.

• Participating in monthly team meetings to discuss cases and contribute recommendations based on client progress and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically focuses on providing intensive support to children and adolescents aged 3-20 with developmental disabilities and cognitive challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm), with weekend flexibility being an advantage.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle is essential for home visits.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
