Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their goals, preferences, and specific mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective treatment interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.

• Work closely with a team of psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to mental health care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve practice and interventions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and the de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Lighthouse Wellness, you will primarily work with individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your role will enable you to support a diverse range of clients, fostering hope and healing through personalized and compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Florida.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders.

• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists.

• A proven history of successfully treating individuals with mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n
