Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their psychological and emotional wellbeing.

• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic plans addressing clients’ specific mental health needs.
\n
• Regularly meet with clients via virtual sessions to monitor progress, provide guidance, and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to promote healing.

• Facilitate efficient referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when clients require medication management or additional support.

• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and collaborative treatment planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you'll engage with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds and circumstances. Typical client issues include emotional distress, struggles with substance abuse, mood disorders, and interpersonal difficulties. Each client presents unique challenges, and your ability to deliver culturally responsive therapy will be crucial in addressing their specific situations effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license in New York as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW-R.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and proven mastery of evidence-based treatment methods.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the ability to remain composed in high-pressure scenarios.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
