Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining full-time availability (Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM). Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider diverse sociocultural factors to tailor effective treatment plans for individual clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapted to meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on managing mental health concerns, fostering communication, and enhancing resilience.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and support staff to ensure holistic and synchronized care, addressing interrelated mental health and medical needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring timely support for clients facing acute mental health challenges.

• Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress according to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training in cultural competency and mental health best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
