Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations through detailed client interviews and assessments to establish treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized and family-focused treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions to ensure effective engagement and progress.

• Monitor clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions as necessary to align with their evolving goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for our clients.

• Regularly attend case review meetings and contribute to treatment planning discussions, ensuring a unified approach to client care.

• Assist families and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges and implementing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client services and interactions as per clinic policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse population of clients facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, is preferred.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal skills that showcase empathy and compassion.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a diverse array of mental health issues, including addiction disorders, trauma, and co-occurring physical health conditions.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of pharmacological treatments and their effects, as you may work closely with clients on medication management collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus.
