Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand each client’s unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, thereby informing tailored mindfulness practices.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, designed to aid clients in reducing stress, enhancing relaxation, and improving their overall well-being.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques that promote self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Organize and lead group workshops focusing on mindfulness practices and resilience-building strategies that empower clients to manage stress effectively.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques seamlessly into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and promoting holistic client growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive treatment approach that supports clients’ mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
