Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments by meeting with patients to evaluate their mental health status, history, and treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on each client’s specific needs, ensuring evidence-based interventions are utilized.

• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with strategies and support to navigate their mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or support groups.

• Cultivate a safe, supportive environment that encourages open dialogue and trust, enabling clients to express themselves freely.

• Utilize crisis intervention skills to assess and address urgent needs, ensuring client safety and appropriate resource allocation when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relational issues. We emphasize cultural sensitivity and empowerment, recognizing the importance of addressing the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client to provide holistic and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating expertise in mental health assessment and therapy.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills, enabling effective management of high-pressure situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
