Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess client needs and document case histories accurately from the initial consultation through the treatment process.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health and create detailed, individualized treatment and recovery plans encompassing various intervention strategies.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to share, learn, and grow in a supportive environment.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observable outcomes and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, physicians, and social workers to ensure holistic care and comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Follow up with psychiatrist services for clients who require medication management and keep relevant parties informed about treatment progress.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and utilize evidence-based strategies to enhance client engagement and success.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges of their loved ones, providing resources and guidance as necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a clear understanding of psychotherapy best practices.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to efficiently document client interactions and ensure compliance with standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing physical health conditions and addiction issues.

• Familiarity with the guidelines set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and other relevant regulatory bodies.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex information effectively to clients and their families.

• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an empathetic and respectful approach to client care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
