Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed initial interviews to assess the mental, emotional, and behavioral health of clients, documenting comprehensive case notes throughout the treatment process.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery strategies for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that each plan aligns with evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that foster open communication and encourage client participation.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress toward treatment goals, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers to create integrated care plans that address the holistic needs of clients.

• Manage follow-ups with psychiatrists and other attending physicians for clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring continuity of care during transitions.

• Identify early warning signs of behaviors that may hinder recovery, intervening proactively to support clients’ therapeutic journeys.

• Provide guidance to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to support their loved ones in managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on adult clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience working as a mental health counselor with a focus on providing therapeutic support.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, notably AVATAR, for effective case documentation and progress tracking.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
