Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and mental health status through virtual sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse client population, encompassing adults, adolescents, and families dealing with various mental health challenges. This includes individuals experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, substance use problems, trauma, and relational issues. A strong emphasis is placed on cultural competence and understanding clients' backgrounds to tailor therapeutic approaches effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State is essential.
