Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of client mental health status through scheduled virtual sessions and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and cater to the specific needs of each client.

• Maintain regular follow-up appointments with clients to monitor progress, recalibrate therapeutic strategies as needed, and provide ongoing support.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including coordinate care and make referrals to psychiatrists or specialists when necessary.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, providing immediate support during challenging situations while fostering a calm and safe environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will encounter a diverse population of clients facing a range of mental health challenges including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your ability to provide culturally responsive care, adapt to the unique dynamics of each client, and maintain sensitivity to their backgrounds will be crucial for fostering trustworthy therapeutic relationships. You will support individuals from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, helping them navigate life’s challenges and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
