Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport. This position ensures timely billing, collections, reconciliations, and compliance with federal, state, and local housing authority regulations, including HUD requirements. Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting experience. Experience working with public housing agencies, government accounting, or HUD programs preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software systems. Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
