Work Environment\n

This full-time position is structured within a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that impactful care continues to be delivered to our clients. Core hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evenings required to accommodate client scheduling needs. While we offer a supportive atmosphere, collaboration is central to our operations; thus, active engagement in case conferences and team meetings is expected.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, identifying any co-occurring disorders.

• Work collaboratively with clients to craft individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to address their specific mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to develop essential coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and emotional regulation techniques.

• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure a seamless integration of care across various treatment modalities.

• Regularly monitor substance use and apply motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement in their own recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families about the interconnectedness of mental health and substance use disorders to promote understanding and treatment compliance.

• Keep accurate and timely documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals in adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences and training sessions to enhance expertise in co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A robust understanding of the interplay between mental health and substance use disorders, with a commitment to continuous learning.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to forge collaborative relationships within a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the mental health counseling field, specifically in treating co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
