Mid-Level Real Estate Associate – Los Angeles Location: West Los Angeles, CA Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $225,000–$275,000 Experience: 4–7 years Visa Sponsorship: Open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers About the Role A well-regarded boutique law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Real Estate Associate to join its dynamic and growing Real Estate Group in West Los Angeles. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and revising real estate transactional agreements, managing and coordinating with partners and paralegals, and handling multiple deadlines and tasks for various clients. Responsibilities Draft, review, and revise real estate transactional agreements, including purchase and sale agreements and loan documentation. Manage and coordinate with partners and paralegals on deals to ensure deadlines are met. Manage deals from start to finish while coordinating with partners, paralegals, and clients. Manage multiple concurrent deal timelines, deadlines, and tasks for various clients. Work directly with clients throughout the transaction process. Qualifications 4–7 years of experience in real estate transactional law. J.D. from an accredited law school. Active California bar membership. Real estate transaction experience including purchase and sale agreements, loan documentation, and JV/capital markets agreements. Experience drafting and negotiating PSAs and financing documentation. Experience with JV operating agreements, preferred equity, and syndication documentation. Experience managing deals from start to finish. Strong client-facing communication skills and comfort with frequent direct client interaction. Ability to manage multiple concurrent deal timelines and deadlines. Based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles and able to work on a hybrid basis from the West Los Angeles office. Comfortable with an 1,800-hour billable requirement. Preferred Background Candidates with experience at boutique or mid-size firms with direct client contact are encouraged to apply. A BigLaw real estate transactional practice background is also valued. The strongest candidates will bring substantive transactional real estate experience rather than a purely litigation or non-transactional real estate background and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
