This opportunity offers a full-time schedule serving students from kindergarten through age 22 within the Low Incidence Program, focusing on Autistic Support, Life Skills, and Multiple Disabilities, at a specialized educational center. Your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential by providing strategies and skills that foster independence and participation in daily school activities.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience supporting school-aged children or young adults with autism, multiple disabilities, or significant support needs
• Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently handle detailed documentation and paperwork
• Adaptability in response to changing student needs and programming
• Collaborative approach for working alongside teachers, aides, and other service providers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within educational settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals focused on functional student outcomes
• Assess students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills using standardized tools and clinical observation
• Maintain thorough and timely progress notes, IEP documentation, and data records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support plans
• Empower students to gain practical life and classroom skills
