This full-time role offers flexibility in scheduling and a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 84,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to ascertain the needs of each client accurately.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans, setting tailored goals that respect their unique backgrounds and cultural contexts.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) across individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings.

• Provide crisis intervention services, utilizing your skills to manage acute situations effectively while coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain diligent clinical documentation, ensuring all records like progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.

• Empower clients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with strategies and knowledge to effectively manage mental health challenges.

• Engage with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and modify strategies as needed to optimize mental health progress.

• Stay abreast of recent research and trends in mental health to enrich clinical practice and enhance service delivery.

• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality diligently in all interactions and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals who exhibit a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and the impacts of life transitions. Our focus on culturally sensitive counseling means that you will engage with clients from varied backgrounds, understanding and respecting their unique perspectives and experiences as you build rapport and deliver effective treatment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is essential.

• The ability to function both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, showcasing excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities to effectively build relationships with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical or community setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
