As a Medical Secretary, your responsibility will to: Greet and admit patients arriving for exams, which includes pulling and reviewing relevant patient files and obtaining new patient information. Review and scan appropriate documents. Answer phone calls and schedule them for appropriate exams. Mail or fax documents to the appropriate offices. Maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team. Qualifications 2 years experience as a medical secretary in a health related field Strong customer service skills Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite Previous office experience desired
