Job Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensure financial reporting is in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), applicable laws and regulations, and Corporate Accounting Standards. Ensure Company Financial Policies and Procedures are followed and consistent across the park. Assist with Accounts Payable processing by reviewing invoices for proper coding, approvals, purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation before payment. Support vendor management activities, including vendor setup, verification, and maintenance of vendor records. Process customer payment deposits, prepare bank deposits, manage cash orders, and assist with petty cash administration. Prepare journal entries, cash control entries, and account reconciliations, including month‑end close support and accrual tracking. Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. Assist with inventory audits, cost‑of‑sales entries, and other financial reporting activities to ensure accurate account balances. Research and reconcile credit card transactions, monitor company credit card coding, and support payment services activities. Maintain financial documentation and records retention practices while ensuring confidentiality of company information. Support internal and external audits, tax reporting, compliance requests, and other financial analyses or special projects. Collaborate with operational departments and finance team members to resolve accounting issues, improve processes, and support business objectives. Job Requirements Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., JD Edwards) preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Analytical and problem‑solving abilities, including the capacity to evaluate situations and recommend appropriate solutions. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and provide excellent customer service.
