Underwriting Manager

Lead an underwriting department for the Healthcare Practice Solutions Group (HPSG) Manage approximately 6 underwriters Oversee workflow and review of approval packages Recommend and/or approve loans within NCUM I credit authority Ensure adherence to Risk Policies and drive satisfactory regulatory audits Build and maintain productive relationships with business partners Requirements 10+ years of relevant commercial lending relationship management, underwriting, and/or adjudication experience Prior lending authority >/= $1 million preferred Proven leadership abilities Ability to lead in a highly professional, systems-based environment Proven analytical and research skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Proven organizational, multi-tasking, analytical, time management and decision-making skills Demonstrated understanding of value-add credit structuring in a commercial banking environment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills and a team orientation Computer literacy with a variety of software programs Demonstrated credit underwriting and administration skills Proven ability to identify and mitigate risk #J-18808-Ljbffr
