• Craft individualized treatment plans to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy focused on improving communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to create integrated care plans.
• Provide educational resources and support to patients and families for effective progress beyond the clinic.
• Participate in the occasional inpatient care, ensuring a smooth and consistent treatment experience for patients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with state, federal, and institutional standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and collaborative learning to remain at the forefront of best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining.
