Electrical Repair Technician III, 1st Shift (Onsite)

Collins Aerospace is hiring an Electronics Assembly Technician – Onsite, Phoenix, AZ. Eligibility U.S. Person required – lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, protected individual, etc. U.S.-based role; reserve work hours 6:00am–2:30pm Monday‑Friday. Responsibilities Assemble and repair electronic units, identify correct parts, components, wires, and other materials. Solder components, install new components, and operate assembly machines. Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives as needed. Read and interpret technical data, component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints. Communicate work status to team members and support staff. Maintain safe handling of equipment with moving parts, chemicals, and required personal protective equipment. Work Environment & Physical Demands Products of various weights and sizes; equipment with moving parts; chemicals that may emit fumes. Must be able to distinguish colors, bend, stoop, reach, twist, hold, pick, place, and stand for extended periods. Lifts up to 25lbs. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED plus minimum 2years relevant experience, or 4years relevant experience if no diploma/GED. Experience in soldering and component-level assembly. Experience in aerospace MRO industry preferred. IPC ClassIII Solder Exam certification preferred. Willingness to work required shift schedule. Benefits Medical, dental, vision insurance.
