Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at our outpatient office in the vibrant city of Tampa, FL. The office is well-equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources to aid in effective treatment delivery. Our multidisciplinary team fosters a collaborative atmosphere, where physical therapists work alongside other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatments to prevent disabilities, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function, ensuring every approach aligns with patient care plans.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to implement care plans effectively and according to best practices.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic and prognostic assessments, ensuring tailored therapy strategies.
• Analyze and assess the outpatient environment, making recommendations that increase client independence and rehabilitation success.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, including exercises, traction, and massage, while motivating clients to engage in their rehabilitative programs.
• Assess and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing feedback to physicians on necessary modifications.
• Document all clinical records diligently, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, maintaining compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage with interdisciplinary team members during case conferences to plan and evaluate comprehensive treatment methods for clients.
• Educate clients and families on the effective use of physical therapy devices and promote their understanding of ongoing therapy processes.
• Complete other assigned duties that support the organization's mission to improve client health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and age-related functional decline. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, maintaining good standing with regulatory boards.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed physical therapist, demonstrating expertise in both acute care and outpatient settings.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A passion for patient-centered care, combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Background in specialized therapy areas, such as orthopedics, geriatrics, or rehabilitation therapy, will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of electronic documentation systems and familiarity with OASIS guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
