We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Benefits Sales Professional to support a client engagement in Washington, DC. This position is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with a strong background in employee benefits consulting and business development within the mid-market segment. Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities within the employee benefits market. Build and manage relationships with prospective employer clients. Conduct sales presentations, client meetings, and business development activities. Prepare customized proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations. Lead the sales process from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing. Identify market opportunities through research and strategic outreach. Maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective client solutions. Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities. Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Minimum 5 years of Health & Benefits or Employee Benefits sales experience. Experience selling employee benefits solutions to employers with approximately 1,000–5,000 employees. Strong business development and consultative selling skills. Proven success generating new business and closing complex sales. Experience working directly with executive-level decision-makers. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Active Life & Health Insurance License. Experience in employee benefits consulting or brokerage. Established professional network within the employee benefits industry.
