A freight forwarder in Houston is hiring a business development manager to grow its air and ocean volumes. This is a hunting role with strong operational backing and real earning potential.

Day to day

Win new air and ocean accounts across Houston and the Gulf.
Build your pipeline from your network and your own prospecting.
Sell into project cargo, oil and gas, and general freight demand.
Manage each deal from the first call through to live shipments.

You'll fit if

You have a track record in freight forwarding sales and a portable book of business.
You know the Houston importer and exporter base.
You can prospect, present and close on your own.
You are motivated by results and happy to own a number.

On offer

Up to $150,000 base, depending on your book and track record.
Uncapped commission on gross profit, and you keep your accounts.
Car allowance, full benefits and 401(k) with match.
