Work Environment\n

This role is based in Edison, New Jersey, and follows a remote work model with an outpatient office facility component. Our flexible work environment allows you to perform your essential duties from the comfort of your own home, while still maintaining close collaboration with fellow mental health professionals through virtual consultations and team meetings. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, some flexibility will be required to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments while utilizing evidence-based practices, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other effective modalities that address the diverse needs of clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and other compliance requirements to ensure the integrity of client information.

• Collaborate actively with our multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to foster cohesive and comprehensive care strategies.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights, enhance treatment protocols, and improve the overall quality of care.

• Educate and support clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously stay informed about the latest research, trends, and advancements in the mental health field to enhance your clinical practice and the services offered by our center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your ability to tailor therapeutic strategies to meet the unique emotional and psychological needs of each individual will be critical in helping them achieve measurable progress in their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and techniques for personalizing care for each client.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and families.
\n
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enabling you to address complex client needs effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in an outpatient setting.
