Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' psychological, emotional, and social needs, ensuring that you consider their unique backgrounds and experiences.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline achievable goals and therapeutic strategies tailored to each client’s specific challenges.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused brief therapy, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to facilitate healing.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with research and best practices in social work and addiction treatment to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our detox center primarily serves individuals dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. You will be working with a diverse population that includes various age groups and backgrounds, each with their unique struggles and goals. Your empathetic approach will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their recovery journeys while building a sense of hope and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) license in the state of Vermont.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a passionate commitment to helping individuals attain their recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation or detox setting, particularly with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including, but not limited to, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive client care.

Compensation and Benefits
