Job Summary
An office assistant or office manager who also has QuickBooks Online (Also Desktop) experience, so they can handle day-to-day office tasks and assist with bookkeeping as needed. Based on past candidates and employees, the majority of this role is office support across many areas—filing, phones, shipping, bank runs and errands, bill management sent to the accounting team, inventory, and general office coordination. In reality, less than 10% of the role typically involves actual bookkeeping in QuickBooks and the other 90% are within an office/assistant role based on the duties mentioned.
Seeking the right candidate to fill a fast-paced, demanding junior accounting/assistant position for someone who runs a business specializing in health and nutrition. You must have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure. The job consists of accounting support (Quickbooks 2023 desktop experience is a MUST, credit card settlements, bank reconciliations, Procedure to pay processes, and Order to cash processes), overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, calendar management, organizing travel arrangements, fulfillment and shipping support, helping to create marketing funnels, answering phones and directing call traffic, helping to draft emails and newsletters, and delegating web tech tasks to sites like Fiverr, Upward, etc. This position is for a creative person who is very passionate about business, life, and overall well-being. You need Mac or PC computer skills, word, excel, (social media based graphic design help is a plus) and be quick to learn. Experience in marketing (especially funnels, AI) is a plus. Looking for someone who is reliable, on time, has great communication skills, and has the patience to work with this high-energy health expert and entrepreneur. We need someone available to work during the day 9am till 2pm.

We are seeking a knowledgeable Junior Accountant/Office Manager to join our team. In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations
- Process payroll
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work after business hours and weekends (24/7 mentality)
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- MS Office proficiency ("tech savvy")
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Possess a car, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Emotional maturity
- Experience creating Marketing funnels is a plus
- Knowledge of plant-based diet, supplements, and health is a factor
- Accounting & Quickbooks 2023 desktop knowledge is a must
