Gridnaut Recruiting seeks a Bilingual Portuguese STEM Expert who is native to Brazil or Portugal with biology, physics, or chemistry background to create assessment questions for AI model evaluation. The role focuses on developing Portuguese/English prompts with scientific accuracy and regional linguistic appropriateness.
Employment Type: Remote/Telecommute
Compensation: $18-$42 hourly (USD)
Commitment: Minimum 20 hours weekly
Duration: 3-6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Prompt Design: Create detailed bilingual prompts with scientifically accurate instructions and multiple constraints
- Evaluation Standards: Establish response expectations and develop comprehensive rubrics accounting for scientific rigor and linguistic clarity
- Model Testing: Run prompts through AI systems and assess outputs for accuracy, reasoning quality, and clarity
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate on QA reviews to ensure prompts meet scientific standards before integration into official benchmarks
Minimum Qualifications:
- Native-level Portuguese fluency (written), from Brazil or Portugal
- Strong English reading and writing proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
- Familiarity with undergraduate-level STEM topics
- Strong writing and critical thinking abilities
- Independent work capability with deadline management
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years teaching, research, or applied STEM experience
- Academic terminology knowledge specific to Brazil or Portugal
Application Process: 15-minute AI interview, then paid writing assessment, then project selection.
DURATION
Contract, ongoing with potential for extension based on performance. Approximately 20 hours per week.
COMPENSATION
$30 per hour (hourly contract).
