About the Role

The Company is in search of a Controller / VP of Finance to take on a pivotal role in leading the finance function during a significant growth phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, FP&A, treasury, and financial reporting, with a strong focus on government contracting. This includes owning the finance infrastructure for government contracts, driving budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, and ensuring compliance with DCAA, DCMA, and other relevant regulations. The role also involves partnering with program and operations teams to enhance financial discipline, margin performance, and forecasting accuracy, as well as preparing for potential exit or diligence activities. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance experience, with a solid foundation in government contracting, and a deep knowledge of DCAA compliance, FAR/CAS, and indirect rate structures. Experience with Deltek Costpoint is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, be a strong business partner, and possess excellent communication skills. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred, and a background in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment is a plus. The role requires a collaborative, data-driven leader who is comfortable in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and is adept at driving continuous improvement and execution.
