This position ensures that Medicaid-covered services provided to eligible students in school settings are administered in accordance with the Medicaid State Plan, applicable federal and state laws and regulations, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) requirements, and agency policies. Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Coordinates with program managers within the Single State Medicaid Agency and partner agencies administering Medicaid-funded programs to ensure State Plan provisions accurately reflect current policy, regulatory requirements, and operational practices. Qualifications Education: High School, GED Licensing & Certification: Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public administration, health administration, public health, social services etc. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Three years of experience in planning, organizing, and directing the work of a department, program, or agency. Minimum of two years of experience in program administration. Experience working with stakeholders, providers, and state officials. Experience with public speaking and the ability to create professional reports and presentations, including PowerPoint presentations. Ability to travel in-state as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access Proofreading, editing, attention to detail Demonstrated analytical skills Knowledge of Medicaid programs Ability to manage competing priorities Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to organize relevant information to support recommendations Provide excellent customer service Ability to read and understand regulations and statute Ability to develop a timeline to ensure work gets performed within the established timeframe Experience using SharePoint and OneDrive Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate: A valid Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate is a condition of employment for all employees of the State of Kansas.
