About the Role

DavinWorks Workforce Solutions is a staffing company for commercial construction jobsites with skilled trades — and our electrical division is growing fast. We're looking for a field recruiter who is as comfortable on an active jobsite as they are on the phone with a candidate.

This is not a desk job. You'll be recruiting electricians and electrical support personnel, getting them ready to start, and then showing up on site to make sure they stay supported and stay with us. If you know the trades, know how to talk to craft workers, and follow through until things are actually closed, this seat has real ownership and a direct line to leadership.

What You'll Own

Recruit and screen electrical talent

• Build relationships with electricians and electrical support personnel through referrals, trade contacts, jobsite relationships, and consistent follow-up
• Screen candidates on commercial electrical experience, skill level, certifications, location, travel availability, and readiness to work
• Use your own field experience to run a practical screen before a candidate moves forward
• Keep an organized, accurate candidate pipeline with current contact information
• Be straight with candidates about the job, the schedule, the travel, and the site expectations — we send people who are a real fit, not just people looking for work

Get workers ready to start

• Confirm every approved worker knows where to report, when to arrive, who to contact, and what to expect on day one
• Catch missing documents, certifications, orientations, and PPE before a start date, not after
• Coordinate with HR, safety, and operations so every open item has an owner and a due date
• Follow up until items are closed — don't assume someone else handled it

Visit jobsites and support the workforce

• Visit assigned active jobsites at least every other week, plus additional visits for new crew starts, employee needs, safety concerns, or client requests
• Check in with DavinWorks employees directly and privately when appropriate — readiness, safety, PPE, certifications, scheduling, transportation
• Maintain professional contact with site leadership to understand performance, upcoming labor needs, changing site requirements, and risks
• Identify concerns early and document facts clearly, without gossip or assumptions

Support safety, PPE, and certification readiness

• Flag missing, expiring, or required certifications and site credentials
• Identify PPE needs, request them through the proper process, and follow the order through
• Escalate urgent safety concerns, injuries, or sensitive issues immediately to the right owner — you raise them, you don't carry them alone

Keep people connected and keep the team informed

• Be the reliable point of contact for deployed employees and connect them to the right person in HR, payroll, safety, or operations
• Encourage workers to complete certifications and prepare for greater responsibility
• Document candidate conversations, jobsite visits, workforce needs, and follow-ups in our systems
• Deliver a concise weekly update to leadership: pipeline activity, upcoming starts, visits completed, retention risks, safety/PPE/certification needs, and open decisions with owners and due dates

What a Good Jobsite Visit Looks Like

Before you leave a site, you've talked with our workers and know who's at risk of leaving, gotten direct feedback from the site contact on headcount and performance, identified any PPE or certification gaps, documented what was learned and promised, and assigned an owner and due date to every open item. Visit summary submitted within one business day.

What You Bring

• Hands-on background in commercial electrical or commercial construction — enough that you can hold a real conversation about a candidate's skill level and know when someone is overselling
• Fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly to active jobsites
• Comfortable on an active construction site and able to meet jobsite access requirements (background check, drug screen, site badging)
• Organized follow-through — you close loops without being chased
• Professional judgment with sensitive situations and the discipline to route them correctly
• 3 years in recruiting, field coordination, or trades supervision

Helpful, not required:

• Prior staffing agency or vendor-on-premise recruiting experience
• Journeyman or master electrician background
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Experience with an ATS or recruiting CRM
