Finance Specialist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Provide domain expertise in finance to improve the reasoning, analysis, and decision making of generative AI models by designing realistic finance tasks, producing model-grounded solutions, and evaluating model outputs against structured standards.

• Advise research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps in financial reasoning, analysis, and decision making.
• Design challenging, domain-relevant finance tasks that reflect real-world practice, and write accurate, well-reasoned solutions.
• Evaluate model outputs using structured rubrics, and deliver clear written feedback on correctness, judgment, and reasoning quality.
• Develop and refine evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics specific to finance tasks.
• Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy across training and evaluation data.

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated, professional finance experience in roles such as investment banking, asset management, corporate finance, accounting or audit, corporate treasury, or financial planning and analysis. Peripheral or generalist roles that only touch finance are not sufficient.
• Required professional finance credential: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to reliably engage at least 10 hours per week during weekdays.

• Location: US Remote.
• Employment type: W-2 employment through an employer of record, placed as part of an extended workforce at a leading AI lab.
• Hourly engagement, with a minimum reliable commitment of 10 hours per week on weekdays.

• Hourly pay range: 65 to 90 per hour.

• This role is structured as W-2 employment based on US remote placement. Candidates must be able to accept employment on that basis.
• Professional credential requirement is mandatory: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
