Position Overview

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness is actively seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, hands-on patient care within our well-equipped outpatient rehabilitation facility. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing patients' movement limitations, creating structured therapy plans, and guiding individuals through their rehabilitation journey.

Work Environment

Located in the scenic community of Lehigh Acres, our rehabilitation facility provides a state-of-the-art environment fully equipped with the latest therapy technologies and tools. You will be part of a supportive and multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation aides. Our facility is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities to work four 10-hour shifts depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate patients' mobility status, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs using advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Design, implement, and adjust individualized rehabilitation plans based on patients' goals and progress.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and specialized treatments, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and modify treatment approaches for optimal outcomes.
• Provide effective patient education regarding at-home exercises, lifestyle modifications, and strategies for tracking progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with industry regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and may experience a variety of conditions requiring rehabilitation. We focus on providing care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will be essential in empowering patients to regain independence and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida PT License or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with specialized rehabilitative therapies or certifications such as sports therapy or manual therapy would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
