Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and evaluating patients referred by physicians to design individualized treatment plans that support their rehabilitation goals.
• Implementing and monitoring therapeutic programs that may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities based on patient needs.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention and home-based exercises to promote recovery and enhance quality of life.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating in team meetings to share insights and contribute to the development of facility best practices for patient care.
• Upholding exceptional standards of customer service, fostering a welcoming and healing environment for all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric needs, and sports-related ailments. Each patient presents a unique set of challenges and goals, allowing you to apply your clinical expertise and creativity in developing effective treatment programs. Your role is pivotal in guiding patients through the recovery process, from initial evaluation to achieving their therapeutic objectives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• A passion for building lasting relationships with patients and demonstrating a commitment to their recovery.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, we especially value candidates with additional training or certifications in specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatric therapy, or neurological rehabilitation. Experience using telehealth platforms to reach patients in remote settings would also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
