Work Environment

Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while ensuring ample time for each patient through a manageable caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the specific objectives and rehabilitation needs of each patient upon intake, developing a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to their individual goals.
• Maintain a steady patient load, averaging one individual per hour, to deliver high-quality care without compromising attention to detail.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapies and specialized exercise regimens, to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility effectively.
• Propose and implement non-surgical alternatives to improve patient outcomes, focusing on minimizing reliance on medication and promoting holistic healing strategies.
• Design and oversee customized fitness and wellness programs, ensuring they align with patients' specific health conditions and lifestyle goals.
• Encourage and support patients during their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to achieve their highest functional levels.
• Document patient interactions and progress meticulously, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations utilizing EMR software like WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, enhancing the overall care experience.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment efficacy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Our patient demographic is diverse, ranging from athletic individuals seeking rehabilitation to older adults aiming to maintain mobility and independence. The personalized attention you provide will directly impact their recovery journey, helping them achieve vital milestones.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise interventions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of creating a positive rapport with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Strong background in designing evidence-based therapeutic programs that cater to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline clinical documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
