Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility offers an onsite work environment that is both supportive and dynamic. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapy aides, occupational therapists, and orthopedic physicians. The regular hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while providing comprehensive treatment to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical cases and sports injuries.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training, to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on proper movement mechanics, home exercise programs, and preventive strategies to minimize the risk of future injuries.
• Collaborate effectively with orthopedic physicians and other medical staff to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay abreast of the latest advances in physical therapy techniques and best practices through continuous professional development and training.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
